Celebrating Missionary Support and Collaboration in Tijuana

We love celebrating moments like these!

One of our key initiatives is fostering "sending partnerships" between missionaries and congregations. Through these partnerships, churches recognize and support the vital work of missionaries in our region. God knows how much these missionaries need to be seen and supported, and every relationship and detail counts. They need to be "sent" well, and it's our duty to ensure they are.

In this picture, you'll see Pastor Job Jimenez, a dedicated missionary serving in Tijuana, after leading a Bible study in one of the new communities his church is reaching. Pastor Job sent this photo to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Pacific Beach to thank them for their special gift for mothers. The Lutheran Mission Society is delighted to help foster a relationship between Pastor Job and St. Paul's, with the goal of St. Paul's becoming a "sending church" for this mission leader.
