Mentoring Local Missionaries

Throwback to a meaningful moment of mentoring and planning with André Monari, a dedicated missionary connected with the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego. André, a talented musician and worship leader, carries a fervent desire to spread Christ's love throughout San Diego, particularly within the Brazilian community. Last August marked the launch of his ministry, BR 55, in collaboration with Bethany Lutheran Church in Ocean Beach.

Regular mentoring sessions and visits with missionaries like André have proven vital in shielding them from isolation and empowering them for their God-given calling. We've embraced the opportunity to walk alongside them, offering encouragement and guidance. These interactions aren't limited to André alone but extend to every local missionary whom God has brought into our path.

In this throwback photo, the presence of missionary worship leader Kedma Wenz holds symbolic significance. Kedma has been instrumental in supporting and partnering with André's ministry in San Diego. It was largely through her prayers and connection that our relationship with André blossomed. Together, we're committed to uplifting and empowering missionaries like André as they tirelessly serve our community.
