Fostering Fellowship and Collaboration Among Mission Leaders

At the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego, we are dedicated to supporting mission leaders by combating feelings of isolation. We want them to know they are not alone in their ministry endeavors, and that their effectiveness and joy are significantly enhanced through partnerships and community. Sometimes, all it takes is introducing one mission leader to another, and witnessing God work in their relationship. As C.S. Lewis once wrote, 'Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, 'What! You too? I thought I was the only one.'' This is exactly what happened in the picture below.

It was a privilege for us to introduce two remarkable leaders who are impacting our mission field with similar ministries: Mike Luna, leading a men's ministry at Hope Lutheran Church in San Diego, and Diego Zamorano, leading a men's ministry at Community Lutheran Church in Escondido. The connection between them and their mutual encouragement was powerful and immediate.

May their inspiring partnership continue to ignite hope and collaboration, transforming lives and strengthening our churches.
