Strengthening Partnerships: Our Visit and Future with St. James Lutheran Church

At the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego, we are deeply committed to serving alongside local churches, recognizing that our mission is most effective when we work in close partnership with congregations. We believe that by collaborating with churches, we can better address the needs of our communities, share the Gospel, and extend Christ’s love to those around us.

This past week, we were grateful for the opportunity to present at St. James Lutheran Church in Imperial Beach. We shared our mission, provided updates on the progress of our work, and discussed future opportunities for partnership. St. James has already been a vital partner in supporting Vicar Gustavo Valderrama, and we look forward to furthering our collaboration.

Our approach emphasizes the importance of local churches as the heartbeat of gospel outreach. We are excited about the ways we can continue to work together with St. James and other congregations to make a meaningful impact in San Diego County and Tijuana. We trust that by joining hands in service and ministry, we can accomplish much more than we ever could alone.
