Exciting New Prison Ministry: Equipping Local Missionaries in San Diego

Exciting things are happening as we continue to recruit, equip, and send local missionaries in San Diego! Today, we had the privilege of sitting down with Kaleena Christensen, a member of Hope Lutheran Church, who is passionate about beginning a prison ministry. Alongside her was Chaplain Art Stevens, whose wealth of experience and wisdom in this area will be invaluable as Kaleena steps into this new calling.Chaplain Art has graciously agreed to co-mentor Kaleena as she develops and launches this vital ministry, and we are thrilled to see how God is guiding her to share the gospel with those behind bars. This partnership between Kaleena and Chaplain Art is a powerful example of God’s provision and guidance in shaping a mission that will impact many lives. Please keep Kaleena, Chaplain Art, and this new ministry in your prayers as they move forward in faith and obedience to God’s call. We are excited to see how God will work through them to bring hope and transformation to those in prison!
