Throwback to the Launch of BR+55: Reaching the Brazilian Community in San Diego

Our #tbt today highlights the launch of our first ministry, BR+55, made possible through the first missionary God gave us in San Diego and our partnership with Bethany Lutheran Church in Ocean Beach. BR+55, named after Brazil’s country code, is an outreach ministry aimed at the Brazilian community in San Diego. With an estimated 40,000 Brazilian immigrants in our county, many of whom have some connection to the Christian faith but are underserved, this ministry fills a vital need.

Led by André Monari, whose experience, gifts, and passion drive the mission, BR+55 focuses on outreach through worship and music. The ministry was launched in August 2023, and the pictures you see are from the launch event.
