A Bittersweet Farewell: Sending Missionary Andre Monari Off with Blessings

On August 7, we marked the end of a chapter at the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego. It was a bittersweet day as we bid farewell to missionary Andre Monari, who, alongside his wife, is relocating to Virginia. Though we will miss him dearly, we send him off with our heartfelt blessings.

In the picture, you can see Andre alongside leaders from Bethany Lutheran Church, the very place that welcomed us and nurtured the birth of the BR55 ministry about a year ago. Andre was the first leader we identified and mentored here in San Diego, and he will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We send Andre off with our prayers, guided by Psalm 121, trusting that God will watch over his journey and future endeavors.

Please join us in praying for the continued growth and success of the Brazilian ministry in Ocean Beach. May God’s grace and guidance be with all of us as we move forward.
